Space Cameras

If I remember correctly this is the camera that took the photos on the moon.

And these were used for different missions in space.
Sorry for the bad pictures. My dd was trying to eat the camera when I took them. LOL

You Capture/Something you have never captured

Well I am a bit embarrased to say I have not known how to use the light meter on my camera. I have been shooting in manuel for months but was totally doing exposure by eye. I would take a picture, check it  on the screen and then change settings accordingly.
Well this week I am working on reading Bryan Peterson's book on Understanding Exposure and this is the challenge he had for us.
Taking the same picture at different apertures and setting the lighting with the meter.
I used a tripod for this experiment. (I will add my settings later after supper)

I Just couldn't resist

PP got her first pair of shoes. Plus a fluffy skirt.

Hmmm...

There is something a little disturbing. When your making food and it frowns at you.

But after they were stacked on the plate...
They soon disappeared!

You Capture/Old Signs

This was actually a lot of fun. They are hiding everywhere. Unfortunately a lot are 1/2 covered by a modern sign.
First ones I found were a grain elevator (not sooc, tweeked a little)

Then I made it to Main Street.

I have always liked this one and think that thing on top looks like a robot!

And this is a old theater that is still up and running.

I just love old buildings. Why can't we build them like this anymore?
(this is not sooc I played a little)
This was next to this theater.
And across the street.  (not sooc either)

But these are 2 of my favorite old signs. In the little town I live in. From the history I have found the partner to Cooper Hardware lived in my house many  many years ago. This building is about all I know about him. I hear he was a bachelor.
